The Central England Rehabilitation Unit (CERU) cares for people suffering from an acquired brain injury, stroke or tumour. This charity enhances the facilities at CERU to make the patients and relatives as comfortable as possible. There are many possible causes for acquired brain injuries and the some of the most common at CERU are: Road traffic accidents, sports injuries and falls. The average length of stay for patients at CERU is 124 days, many being under 35 years old.

Story

We are taking part in the 7 km multi terrain Mudnificent Run on Saturday 11 August, raising money for the Central England Rehabilitation Unit (CERU). 

The Central England Brain Injury Charity raises funds to enhance the facilities at CERU in Leamington Spa. CERU supports people who have had an acquired brain injury, stroke or other neurological event. Individuals can spend a long time at CERU and this charity provides vital funds for equipment and helping to make the ward more comfortable for patients and their families.
