We (myself and my cousin, Antonio) are doing a 50km run from the border of North of Portugal (Miranda do douro municipality) to a little town in northern Spain/Madrid called (Zamora). 

The reason why we have decided to do a sponsored run in aid of The Water Project is because we feel as though we want to raise awareness and support for people who live in low economically developed countries. We feel that these people face some great challenges which in western societies we often take for granted- like clean water. Their basic needs are challenged every day. The lack of access to clean, safe and reliable water, alongside having to travel thousands of miles to get water are only part of the daily struggle some of these people go through but does not take away from the fact that there are things we can do to help in any way we can! This is why we are running 50km.
