The Marsden March 2018 · 4 March 2018 ·
29/01/2018: So sad to report that Tracy has now very peacefully passed away surrounded by her family within the last few days. Words cannot explain how much this lady was loved by so many, she will forever be remembered and missed. Her story is as follows;
Our friend and colleague Tracy Earl was diagnosed with cancer in June 2016 and began treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital almost immediately. After a very invasive procedure and many rounds of chemotherapy, Tracy made a full recovery and returned to work at Lloyds Bank in Sutton in March of this year. Tracy was so pleased to be getting her life back on track and was really enjoying being back at work with her colleagues and customers, many of whom have become close friends with Tracy having worked at the bank for 35 years.
Unfortunately, Tracy's recovery was to be short-lived as in June she was advised that the cancer had returned and that she would need a further 6 rounds of chemotherapy. Sadly, just a few weeks into this treatment, Tracy was given the devastating news that her condition was now terminal and the chemotherapy would be stopped. Tracy was told that she now had months to live, possibly weeks and she was receiving care at St Raphael's Hospice in North Cheam.
We have decided to come together to walk the Marsden March in support & memory of Tracy and to raise funds for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Please help us to make Tracy proud.
