Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am raising funds for The Turners Syndrome Support Society, this is to help raise awareness for girls born with this syndrome, this affects 1/2500 females in the UK, one of them being my cousin Sadie Atkins who sadly lost her life in 2010 at the young age of 29.

To run this half marathon is my personal way of raising money and contributing to our ever growing success in raising both money and awareness to the charity as myself and my family did not know the society existed until she passed away. They provide people with lots of knowledge and understanding towards Turners Syndrome and gave us lots of support when we needed it most. We would like others to know about the charity as they have so much to offer with support and information to girls and adult women with TS.

I will be running the Surrey Half Marathon on Sunday 11th March which will be my 3rd time running a half marathon, like the previous years I am hoping to raise as much money as I possibly can to donate to the charity which is so close to home. I will be running in my purple TSSS t-shirt so look out for me and cheer me on as I will need all the encouragement I can get to get me to the finish line!

Please dig deep as every little helps, all donations are much appreciated no matter how small!

Thank you for your support in advance.
