Challenge12 - Halloween Moonriders - THE FINAL CHALLENGE OF 2013!!

On October 25th 2013, the Challenge12 team wil be taking part in a 100km bike ride....through the night....all to raise money for Duchenne Now.

 

We are fundraising for Duchenne Now in honour of Nicky's family., as there is someone who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which leaves him unable to do so many of the things we would consider ‘normal’ for a 14 year old boy. Without more funding and research those afflicted will have largely shortened lifespans.

Duchenne Now uses funding to support research into finding a cure for DMD with the hope that one day soon, being diagnosed does not mean an end to running, jumping and dancing like it does at the moment. It affects 1 out of 3500 boys in the UK, so though rarely heard of, it isn’t rare.
