ACT supports projects that protect access & promote sustainable use of our mountains & countryside. From practical work such as footpath repairs to sustainable transport projects, good practice publications, research & training, ACT hopes to help future generations continue to enjoy the outdoors.

Story

#Challenge446 is my mission to climb every mountain over 2,000ft in England and Wales in just 6 months - that's 446 peaks.

My journey will involve:

  • walking over 1,000 miles
  • wild camping for 100 nights
  • ascending 5 times the height ofEverest

I'm aiming to raise £446 - that's £1 for every summit - for

the Mend Our Mountains campaign, which is run by BMC Access and Conservation Trust. It’s an awesome cause that helps protect our beautiful mountains for future generations. (Update - extended my target to £1,000 after the generosity of so many donors!)
