I have 2 girls with cystic fibrosis. Although life can be hard sometimes (for anyone and everyone), it’s very much worth living. Life is full of good things. My girls, along with the rest of the cf community, deserve to live full lives. I want them to live a life full of ups and downs like anyone else. I want to see them happy, with their own families if they so wish. I want them to get old and be able to say ‘ I had a full life’. I’m organising a fundraising campaign of 40 things before I turn 40. Starting with asking for donations instead of gifts for my 39th birthday, and finishing with a party to celebrate on my 40th. With lots of other events (big or small) in between. The fb page is

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-limiting genetic condition affecting more than 10,000 people across the UK. It affects the lungs and digestive system and can cause chronic infections and reduced lung function. Currently, half of those with CF will not live past age 41.
