Story
Hi, my name is Nate Pakeman and I'm 9 years old.
In January 2019 I lost my best friend Tobi to a very rare disease called Eosiniphillia, which meant his white blood started to attack his vital organs. He fought for an entire year and had hundreds of tests and different medications but they couldn't find the answer and nothing worked to make him better.
I spent all of 2019 doing 12 different challenges and raised £9300 for the Critical care appeal to help kit out their special ambulances.
But I don't want to stop there, I want to keep raising as much money as I can for the amazing hospital who helped my friend, and help thousands of Children each and every year.
One of the places Tobi always dreamed about going was to London, so for this Challenge I'm going to walk there! It's 150 miles from my front door to Big Ben so each day in June I am going to rack up as many miles as I can walking in my local area.
I would love as many children as possible to join me too, and hopefully when we complete all the miles we can have a big London themed picnic together to celebrate!
