We provide information, advice & support to everyone affected by a parents drinking

Story

On the 9th of May 2020 a group of us will be walking 26 miles around The Peak District 6 Dales Circuit to raise money for NACOA.

Sadly, our mum passed away on the 16th October 2019 as a result of being an alcoholic for many years. Unfortunately we could not save her life and she was taken away from us far too soon, but we will do everything in our power to make sure other people know they have the chance to change with this illness and there are so many people that will support and help them!

About the charity

1 in 5 children in the UK are affected by their parents' alcohol problems. They are often frightened and isolated, with no one to turn to for help. Nacoa responds by providing a free, confidential telephone, 1-2-1 chat and email helpline.
