The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

In Sept 2020, Andrew & Simon will be attempting to swim the 21+ miles across the English Channel to support Macmillan cancer support

What makes this even more special is Andrew only started learning to swim in Sept 2018, giving himself two years to learn and train to swim the English Channel.

The pair of them will have to battle all elements the Channel will throw at them from cold waters, hypothermia, strong currents, jellyfish, busiest shipping lanes and the physical and mental aspect to deal with as well.

Cancer is now being diagnosed in 1 in 2 people so Macmillan is needed more now than ever to support everyone affected by cancer.

Swimming the 21+ miles between England and France is to show that anything is possible and in doing so hoping to raise much-needed funds for this important cause.
