Kids don't abide by societal norms and they don't care about the status quo. They live life in the purest way possible. But somewhere along the line this changes. Creativity and wanderlust morph into cultural conformity and obedience as the hands of society shape and mold children into adults.

We adults need to slap the hands of society. There is no need for us to lose our childlike wonder and excitement. It's time for us to channel our inner child and regain what society so undeservingly took from us.

So, we challenge you to channel your inner child and post a picture on Instagram of you breaking the norm and going against the status quo! Stand backwards in an elevator, sport a mohawk to the next big meeting, it doesn't matter just do it! Post the picture and use the hashtag #ChannelYourInnerChildICAF on Instagram. Then, challenge your friends to do the same.

Once you post the picture, come back to our Just Giving page https://www.justgiving.com/ChannelYourInnerChild and donate to the International Child Art Foundation where we have started a fundraiser to raise money to help kids of the next generation preserve their creativity and empathy as they grow.

At the end of each week we will repost the Going Against the Quo picture with the most likes on our Instagram https://www.instagram.com/channel.your.inner.child/ At the end of the fundraiser, check out our Instagram story where we will poll to see who takes the crown for shattering conventionalism and Going Against the Quo.

After the crowning we will make our BIG announcement on Instagram of how we are colliding with convention in a world so ripe for it.
