Epilepsy Action is creating a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, connecting people with others, and providing support and information you can trust. We’re calling out the misunderstanding, prejudice and barriers that stop people with epilepsy living their best life.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

As most of you may know, my youngest son, Charlie (3),  has been diagnosed as having childhood epilepsy, and is currently on medication for it. It is for this reason that I did a sponsored tandem parachute jump to help raise funds for epilepsy action. Also doing a tandem jump was my "old" uni friend Emma Bowden. Check out her page too at www.justgiving.com/emmabowden . Thank you so much Emma for agreeing to do this with me - but remember you volunteered I didn't force you!!

The date of the jump was my birthday - 30th November. Definately a day to remember! Despite the frost on the ground and several layers of clothing it was a fantastic day. The views were amazing from up there. Literally breath-taking!

The jump site will be at Perterlee which is near Durham, and was organised by a company called Skyline.

Any sponsorship amount will be gratefully received. I have been genuinely touched by people's generosity. You can still donate on this site until February, and it goes directly to Epilepsy Action.

Thank you so much. xx

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Epilepsy Action gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
