Great North Run 2017 · 10 September 2017 ·

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page raising money for UK Sepsis Trust. We are team Chapman Ventilation and we're taking part in the Great North Run on Sunday 10th September. The Great North Run is the largest half marathon (13.1 miles) in the world, taking place annually in the North East of England each September.

By sponsoring us you will help the UK Sepsis Trust team save lives and improve outcomes for survivors of sepsis by instigating political change, educating healthcare professionals, raising public awareness and providing support for those affected by this devastating condition.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. With JustGiving your details are safe - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to The UK Sepsis trust.

Thank you again.
