I personally joined Chards a few months ago as a Staffordshire resident! Having moved "up north" to become one of the fine folk calling Lancashire my home I asked my peers which charity would be close to them here.

As a business the vote was more or less unanimous deciding to raise money for Amazing Graze, so we popped the wheels in motion and partnered up with the team there. 

Unfortunately being the absolute glutton for punishment that I am when we were recently deciding on "big events" to do or get involved in, I for some absolute unknown reason mentioned the potential of cycling from coast to coast! And, while most people tackling a "coast to coast" usually pick a narrow stretch of England, I decided what better way to raise money for Amazing Graze than to undertake the mammoth task of cycling around 151 miles in one sitting and riding from Hull back to the office in Harrowside!

(Putting this into perspective, the longest ride I've previously done is 90 miles in a day during cycling from "End to End" - John O'Groats to Lands End!)
