I am raising funds to build a 'Model Village' in the Gambia which will provide electricity and water to people who have to struggle to access water and have no electricity in a village of 1,500 people, called Mure Kunda.

IAAAE stands for the International Association of Ahmadi Architects and Engineers. 

They work prominently in the African continent working towards solutions to alleviate water poverty and bring electrification to rural locations. 

To date over 3.5million people have benefited from the water pumps, solar off-grid systems and villages they have rehabilitated. 

A village is selected that has no foreseen investment or infrastructure to be installed by the government. Normally, women and children in the village travel many miles for water and have very limited access to electricity. 

The project aims to bring a solar water system and various solar outlets to the habitants. A community centre is also built, where the people can host social events and hold educational courses. Roads and pathways around the village are also constructed as well as toilets and sanitation infrastructure.
