We are My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and we're absolutely committed to our goal: A World Free of MND. We will leave no stone unturned in the relentless pursuit of this goal as we fund, guide and enable the smartest, most efficient MND research to catalyse a cure for motor neuron disease.

Story

As part of the annual Scottish Student Sport Conference, attendees shall be running as a group along the West Sands beach in St Andrews in aid of the Doddie Weir Foundation. Two groups will set off along a 4-8 km route out along the edge of the world famous Links golf course, returning along the beach, inspired by Eric Liddell and Harold Abrahams.

The Foundation aims to raise funds for research into the causes of Motor Neurone Disease and investigate potential cures. By taking part in this run, we hope to raise awareness and valuable funds to support this research and enable sufferers of MND to live as fulfilled a life as possible.

From all of us here at Scottish Student Sport we would like to say a personal thank you for giving to such a worthy cause and hope you can support us on the run, Friday 15th June 07:30 am.
