Charity Ball · 1 April 2017

A £35 donation would pay for a week's Speech and Language Therapy for 1 child with Down's Syndrome. One of the greatest barriers for children with Down's syndrome in assessing their local community is difficulty with Speech and Language.

Story

We are holding our James Bond themed Charity Ball on Saturday 1 April 2017. The evening will consist of a 4-course meal with wine, a drink on arrival, casino, auction, raffle and live music by Hangfire followed by a Disco. The event will be held at Swindon Town Football Club, County Road, Swindon SN1 2ED

Tickets for the evening are £55 per person or £50 if booked as a table of 10.  Book your tickets before 31 December and get an early bird rate of only £50 per ticket.  It's going to be a fantastic evening!

Once you have made your payment to our JustGiving page please email chair@swindondownsgroup.org.uk.  We will then send you your tickets and a request for your menu choices.

The Ball is open to all those over the age of 18 and the dress code for this is ‘formal dress’.

All the money raised from this event will be going towards our Speech and Language Therapy. We have been providing Speech and Language Therapy for our children and young adults for over 10 years.  We are the only charity in the UK that provides this service to our children free of charge and in order to do so we have to raise a significant sum of money each year to fund this project.

One of the greatest barriers to learning for children and young adults with Down’s syndrome is the difficulty they have with their speech and language development.  Speech and Language Therapy is crucial to our young people.
