We are powered by people. We’re here to find a cure and improve lives, together.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year my step-grandad passed away. He had been suffering from Parkinson's disease for most of his life. It's a horrible, progressive disease to which there is no cure for it!

Parkinson's doesn't just take hold of the person, it also affects the lives of their loved ones too.

After my step-grandad passed away, it made me realise just how relentless the disease is and how badly there needs to be something out there that can help or even cure it!

I have decided to make a crochet blanket, which will contain a red tulip (the symbol for PD) and consists of 28,080 stitches!

I will update my progress every other day on here and also on my Facebook page

I would like people to donate what they can to help my cause.

So can I ask, please share this fundraiser and my Facebook page. Let's spread this far and wide and help raise money for those 145,000 people in England who already suffer from Parkinson's, and give hope to those 2 people every hour who get diagnosed with the disease!

All donations go directly to Parkinson's UK

All materials for this project will be funded by myself.

Thank you!

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
