Xpression FM Charity Match 'V' · 28 February 2016

We aim to promote community participation in healthy recreation, for the benefit of children and young people up to the age of 16 residing in Devon, Herefordshire and Somerset by the provision of grants and facilities for playing football while also raising awareness of bowel cancer.

Story

We are Xpression FM, the student radio station at Exeter University. We have hosted an annual charity match for the last four years, and intend to make it five in a row this February.

We have chosen to support the Adam Stansfield Foundation, keeping in tradition with the past few years. Adam was an Exeter City striker whose life was cut short by bowel cancer at the age of just 31. Adam's career spanned three teams, Hereford, Yeovil, and Exeter. At all three he was a fan's favourite, both on and off the field.

The charity aims to raise money to help tackle bowel cancer, as well as raising money in the local community to get more people active and involved with sports.

Please do find time to come down to our Charity Match event on the 28th February 2016 at the Exeter University rubber crumb.

Any donations are greatly appreciated.
