Starting the 11th July 2009, Will Taylor, Chris Price, Billy Bates, James Russell and Chris Primett will set off from John O'Groats, most northerly point of Scotland, cycling to Lands End, most southerly point of England.
The trip will cover approximately 1000 miles and we will be looking to do in the trip in around 2 weeks. We will be covering our costs of transport there and back as well as accomodation costs.
We will be trying to raise as much money as possible for 'Rugby Fighting Children's Cancer' and 'Help for Heroes' in memory of our great friend, Tom Sewell. Tom had links to both charities. He had a young friend pass away due to cancer and has friends in the armed forces.
'Rugby Fighting Children's Cancer' raises money for 'The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign'. The RMCC research and treat cancer for over 40,000 people a year. 'Help for Heroes' supports service men and women who are injured in current conficts around the world.
We would be very grateful if you would support us by donating money for one of the causes. If you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank You!
