Story
Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. And 75% of all UK suicides are male. One suicide directly affects roughly 135 people - leaving a lasting impact on family, friends, colleagues, neighbours and acquaintances.
These saddening statistics have hit home in recent years, with the number of people we knew or have worked with taking their own lives sadly rising. So myself, and my colleague Craig have decided to do a 15,000ft tandem skydive to raise funds for (CALM), the Campaign Against Living Miserably. Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide.
CALM exists to help make a change by offering life saving services, provoking conversation and bringing people together to reject living miserably. From advice on there site, through to free, confidential chats with there helpline staff, online or on the phone, there here for whoever needs them, every day. No matter what. £8 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.
We plan to do the skydive on the 30th of July 2022 & the skydive will take place at Skydive Hibaldstow. All proceeds raised will go to (CALM) to help them continue their excellent work. So please donate where possible.
