Story
Myself and Steve are going to be taking on the national three peaks challenge.
For anyone that doesn't know what this is, this involves climbing the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. Total walking distance is 23 miles and total ascent of 3064 metres (10,052ft). Although the aim is to do it in 24 hours, this is a challenge so theres a chance it could take us slightly longer.
We will be starting at Ben Nevis at 8:30am on 28th August, driving to Scafell Pike aiming to depart at 7:30pm on 28th August, then driving to Snowdon aiming to depart at 3:30am on 29th August with a target completion time of 8:30am.
We appreciate any donations to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, they are an amazing charity that do so much for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Thank you.
