I'm taking part in the annual PipeBand-A-Thon for Innerleithen Pipe Band because it's a great fundraiser for the Band - we earn money for the band at the same time as practising our instruments, a win-win for everyone!

I've been a member of Innerleithen Pipe Band for more years than I care to remember and I know just how much good work they've done over the years which is why I'm fundraising for them. The band is entirely self-funded and one of our best annual fundraisers has been our PipeBand-A-Thon, where they band members perform non-stop pipe band music for 12 hours. The next event is on Saturday 20 April 2019 and I'm hoping to raise a lot of money for band funds - I'm hoping to beat last year's record amount!

The Band is entirely self funded - last year we raised enough money to purchase a new bale of tartan for band kilts This year the focus will continue on replacing uniforms as well as keeping our programme of competitions and street parades going.
