It was cold, wet and windy but it's done. 1 hour 55 mins and 19 seconds so the target of beating two hours was beaten. 11,855th out of 56,000 (299th male aged 55 - 59). The atmosphere was incredible, especially the Red Arrows flying over in formation as we crossef the start line and all the cheers and encouragement from the spectators all the way along. Even the hour long queue in the rain at South Shields Metro station afterwards didn't take the shine off it. Thanks for all the donations. What next?
