London to Land's End Bike Ride · 8 July 2010

The Trust campaigns heavily to raise greater awareness of personal safety and stalking issues, demand systemic change where needed, influence public policy, and promote a society in which people are safer and feel safer.

Story

Thanks for your interest in supporting my fund-raising on behalf of the Suzy Lamplugh Trust (and also the Quintessentially Foundation - see my other page).  From 8 - 11 July, me and 39 other hardy souls will be braving the elements, 18-wheelers and roadkill, cycling from London to Lands End for charity.

Quintessentially Foundation (see: http://www.quintessentiallyfoundation.org/) supports 3 children's charities.

Suzy Lamplugh Trust (see: http://www.suzylamplugh.org/)  provides education and counselling to prevent violence and aggression, and the fear of it, in society.  I am a Trustee of SLT but after nearly 7 years on the Board, I am retiring this year to move on to other charitable endeavours in Bermuda.

I am aiming to raise GBP2,000 for each charity, so please dig deep and donate now.  As a special bonus, if I raise my target, I promise not to circulate photos of me in skin-tight Lycra cycling pants.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

All the best.  Charlie
