This year I am taking part in the annual London to Brighton charity bike ride event. My Dad regularly took part in the cycle ride and loved getting on his bike and cycling. Unfortunately my Dad died of a heart related problem in January last year. 
As many of you know, my Dad raised thousands of pounds for charities, giving up his time for free to help make a difference for others. Through all the charity work that he took part in, my Dad benefited from the work of others. Through the research of the British Heart Foundation, my Dad was given a second chance to live earlier on in his life. 
I want to raise money for a charity which helped my Dad.
