On Tuesday 20th April 2021, I will be taking to the skies on the top wing of a Boeing Stearman biplane, to experience an exciting series of flypasts, zoom climbs, steep dives and banks! 

This is all in aid of the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation which is the philanthropic arm of the St. James’s Place Wealth Management Group. 

St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation has been supporting those in need since 1992, making a positive and lasting difference to people’s lives by awarding grants to charities registered in the UK to assist them in the incredible work they do every day. So far, we’ve raised and distributed over £100 million to thousands of charities.

Our grant giving is guided by themes, with the main focus on children and young people who have special needs through illness, disability or mental health problems and also those who are disadvantaged in other ways. The Charitable Foundation also supports the Hospice Movement and people of all ages with cancer.

The Charitable Foundation has been keen to support small to medium-sized charities that can benefit substantially from relatively small grants. Hundreds of small charities have benefited as a result.
