I have signed up for the Deloitte Ride Across British, 9 days of cycling c107 miles a day whilst sleeping in a tent. I have signed up just 26 days before the ride starts.

Why have I signed up for something which many others have spent 6-12 months preparing for with only a few weeks, to challenge myself and raise money for a charity that I am a trustee of, in a sector I am passionate about.

Climate Crisis, Social Equality, Transport Poverty and levelling up can all be significantly supported through effective public transport. The Campaign for Better Transport has a vision that all communities should have access to high quality, sustainable transport that meets their needs, improves quality of life and protects the environment. 

Since 1972 the Campaign for Better Transport has led calls for improvements to the country’s transport networks, campaigning for transport which is greener, more affordable and easier to use.

I am fully funding this ride myself, so all money raised is going to directly help the Campaign for Better Transport continue to deliver on their vital work in the sector.
