We support young people at risk of suicide to stay safe and find hope in times of need

Story

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

Tragically, in October my partner Esther took her own life at the age of 31. There are no words to describe how devasted this has left her family, friends and myself.

Esther was a truly amazing person, she was so kind, thoughtful and her happiness and enthusiasm touched us all. She was a truly dedicated teacher and was loved by all of her students. Her memory will live in our hearts forever.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, with 1800 young people taking their lives in 2018.

My aim is to raise awareness and support for individuals who have attempted or contemplated suicide, harmed themselves or suffer alone, or afraid to speak openly about how they are feeling.

On September 7th I will be completing the Endurance-Life Classic Quarter 44.5miles Ultramarathon, with my friend Trystan Lambert. Where we will be running from The Lizard Point along the South-west coast path to Land's End. https://www.endurancelife.com/classic-quarter

By donating to my page you will be helping PAPYRUS provide ongoing support and reduce numbers of suicide in the UK.

Any encouragement and support would be greatly appreciated thank you for your support.
