Charlie’s hike up Mount Etna · 30 May 2019

We provide an alternative education for children unable to cope in mainstream school due to social and learning differences. The majority of children that attend our centre have suffered from anxiety, bullying and are on the autistic spectrum. Our centre is in Eltham, London.

Story

Thank you for your time to read through this! Excuse my poor English due to recent jet lag!

I have expressed my previous care and commitment to helping the next generation of success in our growing world. I haven’t had the best times at mainstream school. I was severely bullied, tormented and teased due to my special interest into the railway. I was made insecure about the world and struggled to find my place in society. Then I came here and this education centre, in return,  it’s about time I give something back for their service to my development. I will be climbing Mount Etna in May 2019 to raise money for Social Arts For Education in order for their services to better the lives of vulnerable children in the near future. Whether they want to go into Entrepreneurial business, Science, History, Engineering or accounting. I should do something for them.

(Due to unexpected circumstances last year, I wasn’t able to climb Mount Etna in March 2019, I am completing the climb for Saturday the 25th of January 2020)
