Acorns Dog Walk 2013 · 28 April 2013 ·

Acorns supports around 750 children and almost 1,000 families every year. The charity needs to raise £11 million each year to provide its lifeline care. Your support means Acorns can continue to be there for local families facing the unimaginable. Together, we are stronger.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My dog Moose and I, are going for a 3km walk on Sunday 28th April in aid of Acorns Children's Hospice.

My Auntie Leigh used to visit Acorns and my Mummy has told me about the fantastic things they can do for children that are faced with life limiting or life threatening conditions.

So, Moose and I got to thinking - what would be the best way for us to help them raise funds, so they can continue to provide specialist care and support for children and their families?...a Dog Walk.  Moose was very happy with this idea!

But this won’t be any ordinary dog walk. Oh no, it’s a Superhero Dog Walk and Moose just can’t wait to jump into the phone box, don the red cape and lycra suit, ready to take to the skies - well, the pavement anyway, but don’t ruin his dream!

If you could help us on our way you would be our best friends and I know that everyone at Acorns would be so grateful too.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Lots of love and thanks

Charlie and Moose (woof woof!)
