Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are back for a second Big Ride! This time it's bigger!

As some of you may know, my son Harry was born 8 weeks Premature and spent time at the NICU and SCBU at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital. The doctors, nurses and specialists there were absolutely fantastic throughout our stay.

Not only this Robbie's son Arthur spent 2 weeks in the NICU and SCBU as he was 6 weeks premature and had to be treated for Jaundice and a blood infection. The Doctors and nurses were great especially during the COVID times.

We are just 2 examples of many families that have been through this experience, and can't begin to stress the amazing work that is done down there. This is why we have chosen this charity for this year to give something back to this amazing facility on our doorstep that literally saves and changes lives on a daily basis.

In honor of this we will be cycling 140miles through the Lake District and Yorkshire Pennines over some really tough hills including Whinlatter Pass and Hartside climb a staggering 2000ft climb. Normally this challenge is done over a number of days, we will be doing it in one. Our current plan puts us in the saddle for 14hrs.

Any donation to this fantastic cause would be greatly appreciated to get us to our £2000 goal.
