Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

On 23rd April 2006, I ran the London Marathon to raise money for the AIRE Centre, a human rights law centre were I used to be an intern. I finished in 3 hours 20 minutes, which was significantly quicker than my target time.

I'm very grateful to all those who have sponsored me via this webpage or offline. The total raised should hopefully make a real difference to the AIRE Centre.

If you haven't yet had the chance to sponsor me, it's not too late. You can do so by following the links on this page. It is very fast and totally secure. Otherwise, just contact me or the AIRE Centre and we can arrange for offline sponsorship to be made.

Amongst other things the AIRE Centre offers pro bono advice on individual rights under European law, represents needy individuals before the European courts, intervenes in landmark domestic and European human rights cases, and provides invaluable training to lawyers & judges in central & eastern Europe. You can find more about what they do at www.airecentre.org. They rely on charitable donations and every penny really does count, so please dig deep!

Many thanks for your support.
