Story
On April 18th 2004 (Karens birthday) I will be running the London Marathon, a total distance of 26.2 miles, on behalf of the MS trust. Most of you will be aware that Karens mother died of Multiple Sclerosis 10 years ago, and Karen was diagnosed with the disease at the end of 1994. We are very fortunate that Karen has remained well. I feel it will be a fitting occasion to run for the MS Trust on Karens birthday.
The MS Trust is a local charity based in Letchworth, set up in 1993 supporting the 250,000 people affected by MS in the UK. They provide information about MS which is positive and constructive, education for nurses and other professionals, research of relevance to people living with MS today, and MS specialist nurses.
Please sponsor me online. It's the most efficient way for me to raise funds for my charity. If you are a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you. If you know of anyone else who may be interested in donating they can do so via this site.
Both myself and the MS Trust really appreciate your donation. Any amount will make a difference but please try to give generously!
PLEASE START GIVING NOW, AS SEEING THE MONEY ROLLING IN WILL KEEP ME MOTIVATED!!
Many thanks.
