Signing up for the London Landmarks Half Marathon is in itself an accomplishment for me - as those who know me best, know that 1) I used to be a runner and have really struggled with my physical/mental fitness to pick it up again, so I will be starting with a Couch to 5K program. 2) It's the chance to run through LONDON (how fun) AND 3) It's an event that supports and raises money for so many worthwhile and critical charities.

Mental Health awareness & support AND Dog care, welfare and adoption are the two causes I am most passionate about. I have chosen Battersea this time.  My work, life and business is all about dogs - but I really wish to do more to have a positive impact on those that still need, hope and DESERVE their forever and loving home.

The reasons I've been hesitant to sign up for the LLHM (despite promising myself last year, that I would for the next one) is due to my current fitness and weight has made starting running again incredibly challenging and I've lost my love of it for that reason - but I truly wish to be able to do this run - so I am committed and your support would mean the world. Also, the fundraising target is quite significant, so I did fear not being able to meet the requirement to join in this incredible event, supporting Battersea. So not only do I pledge to get my butt into gear and start running again, and to actively ask for donations and support, but I pledge to also put a percentage of my Charlie Paws Doggy Care walks towards the fundraising. 

Please help me in reaching the £350 target and support me in this mental and physical challenge. And come join the fun - either as a participant or cheerleading/spectator at the run on 7 April 2024! :D
