Story
Hello and thank you for taking a peek!
If you’d told me a year ago that I would being doing a 10k run within a year I would have laughed at you or run a mile (definitely not literally!). However … after a year of various fitness training routines, which have been life changing, I can tell you that I really will be attempting to complete the Brighton Marathon’s 10k (BM10k) course this April!
I wanted to use this opportunity not just for my own benefit but to be able to help out a little for others too. I have decided to help raise some money for the ‘D.R.E.A.M. Centre’ appeal at Chailey Heritage Trust.
Chailey Heritage is a charity providing education, care and transitional services for children and young people with complex physical disabilities and health needs. Founded in 1903, the Foundation has given these children and young people the opportunities to lead healthy, safe and happy lives.
The Foundation has launched The D.R.E.A.M. Centre Appeal to raise £2,600,000 to build a modern and vibrant indoor activity space where children and young people with complex disabilities and health needs can participate in a mixture of arts and physical activities. You can read more about it on: www.thedreamcentreappeal.org.uk
I would be really grateful for any donations at all, every pound makes a difference and is appreciated. The BM10k takes place on Sunday 9th April.
Thank you so much in advance for any support for this really worthwhile cause.
