After getting a road bike for Christmas, I decided it was an incentive to do something with it, whilst supporting a worthwhile cause.

Having made friends with the Parisian bomb squad, I felt it was only right to cycle from London to Paris, where I'm hoping they'll be waiting to greet me along the Champs Elysees.

On a more serious note the British Legion is an amazing charity that over the last 95 years has supported servicemen and women and their families and continue to support those that do the most incredible job, a job which makes my 460km cycle seem like a cycle in the park.
