Story

Charlie Newlands is a 6 year old pupil at Sandwick School. He is currently receiving treatment for leukemia, on the Schehallion Ward at York Hill Hospital in Glasgow.

10 men from Billfinger Industrial Services will walk 80 miles non-stop from Unst to Sumburgh, on Friday 5th September 2014, to raise money for three charities: Clic Sargent, Chloe's Chemoo Cows, Ronald Macdonald House in Glasgow & to support Charlie.

Team Members: Gary Smith, Ian Henderson, John-William Halcrow, David Summers, Danny Carter, Marc Sherwood, Michael More, Christopher MacGregor, Danny O'Sullivan & Adam Lewis.

Ronald McDonald House Glasgow provides a warm, welcoming, cost-free ‘home away from home’ for families with seriously ill children in hospital, keeping families together when it matters most. As a small independent Scottish charity, we rely entirely on fundraising & donations to keep our doors open.
