Story

Hello,

First of all, thank you for visiting my fundraising web page.  As you may have heard, in July 2009 I will be climbing to the highest point in Africa (5,898.7m)in aid of Save the Children.  I will then be taking part in a local community project; helping the most impoverished areas of Kenya.

I intend to raise a total of £2,800 of which £1,400  will go towards funding my trip and £1,400 will go directly to Save the Children.  It is through this webpage that you can contribute to the £1,400 target that will go directly to the charity.  Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure and can all be done on-line. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Save the Children gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

As a means of raising money I will be taking part in numerous events.  I have a place at the UK Toughguy in late January and am also running the Paris Marathon in April. There will also numerous small scale events that I will organize throughout the coming 6 months.  If you would like to find out more please visit my Facebook group (Charlie Wilson fundraising) where I'll post up to date news of what I'm up to.

Any questions feel free to e-mail me at cwhwilson@hotmail.c.uk

It really doesn't matter how much you give as every little bit helps!

Thank you,

Charlie
