Save the UK's Charities
On Sunday 26th April 2020, Dan and I are going to run 2.6 miles together as our 2.6 challenge! Those that know me may think this isn’t really a challenge for me but this will be my first run in two weeks after having had coronavirus. I’m so lucky I have recovered and am now in a position to tackle a run. But I’m expecting it to be hard going after being ill.
The challenge for Dan will be to drag himself away from his phone for long enough!
We are supporting Marie Curie in dear Helen’s memory. #teamnel
Save the UK's Charities
General fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income.
This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
