I am a midwife who trained in Leicester and has worked in Birmingham for 4 years since qualifying. I work on delivery suite and I am joining my amazing midwifery team to raise money for a cause that is local and incredibly important. The Lily Mae Foundation supports bereaved parents who have lost a baby to stillbirth, neonatal death, miscarriage and termination. The money raised will help in two ways. Firstly to support families through counselling and building memory boxes and creating a community of support because unfortunately this happens more than many can bare to think about. 

This is where the money can also help with funding research into preventing families enduring something so difficult. 

The support to families that this charity provides is priceless and is close to all of our hearts as we see first hand the need for charities like this in our role. 

We would love to raise loads for this deserving charity so please give where you can. We will need to raise a minimum amount as a team to cover the cost of the event so any help would be greatly appreciated.
