Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’m sure it will come as a shock to you all that I have decided to run the half marathon seeing as I hate all forms of exercise with a passion, and I’m extremely uncoordinated. However, I have been motivated to stop being so lazy after a sudden death in the family shortly before Christmas.
My cousin Daniel died from sudden heart failure whilst running for a train. This is why I have decided to run the Leeds Half marathon, in his memory.
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a heart disease which is often undetected until it's too late. It is the leading cause of cardiac death in young people.
I am hoping to raise as much as I can for the British Heart Foundation, so any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
