Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 24th and 25th July 21 I am taking part in the South West Coast2Coast walk, walking 102k in two days and camping over night (which is a challenge in itself for me!).

I am walking to raise as much money as possible for Parkinson's UK, after a close family member was recently diagnosed. Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition. This means that it causes problems in the brain and gets worse over time.

Parkinson's UK help to fund research and promising treatments , they are getting closer to breakthroughs each day. They also offer information, help and support to everyone with Parkinson's, their families and carers. They do an amazing job and I would love to raise as much money as possible so they can keep researching and supporting many more people in the future.

Any donations are very much appreciated and donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
