Approximately 150,000 people in Ireland are living with a brain injury today. We are asking you to take on a challenge and make150,000 steps between January 1st and 31st. Start the year right by raising vital funds for Acquired Brain Injury Ireland.

Story

This January marks 2 years since I had my first neurology appointment, and a year since surgery to remove my cavernoma. I have been lucky to recover as well as I have and that is in no small part due to the rehab and care I was given in hospital and Donnybrook. Acquired Brain Injury Ireland is a brilliant charity helping those with brain injuries recover and they provide a place to connect with others who understand what it's like.
I'm starting 2021 off in the right way.19,000 people a year acquire a brain injury around the country with approximately 150,000 people living with one. I am taking on the challenge to take 150,000 steps between January 1st and 31st. Acquired Brain Injury Ireland help rebuild lives after brain injury. Empowering people to live to their full potential. This only possible through donations and your support. Acquired Brain Injury Ireland passionately serves and relentlessly advocate to empower and support people impacted by brain injury to rebuild their lives. What they want is a society where brain injury is understood and all those impacted receive world-class, personalised rehabilitation and support, as and when they need it. Please donate to support my 150,000 steps challenge and support brain injury survivors in 2021.
