I am doing a sponsored walk for Chester Zoo on World Elephant Day to raise money for the Never Forget campaign. 

We need to find a vaccine for EEHV, the deadly virus that kills young elephants both in zoos and in the wild. 

Recently, Chester Zoo lost two young Asian elephants Bala and Hari to EEHV. They were two years old. This fast moving virus is proving lethal to young elephants around the world both in the wild and in zoos and there is no vaccine against it. 

Every penny raised from your Summer Stampede will go towards fighting the EEHV and protecting the lives of elephants all over the world.
