I'm running the London 2020 Marathon!

That didn't happen so lets change it too.....2021!

I was once told 'you'll never do it', well...... Yes I will! I've got a charity place for a team that believe in me & now I want to say thank you by raising £2000,00 to help them make women & children in poverty have a better life.

My training started, unknowingly back in May when I joined team Outreach 2019 & the knowledge, support, training & belief has seen me conquer my 1st 10k & has supported me through 2 half marathons, so far!

As you can see.....I'm serious about this!

So the charity....well as a midwife looking after women & children, it made sense to me. 

The denial of womens & girls rights is one of the biggest causes of poverty worldwide & a grave injustice. Poverty is complex. Its more than a lack of money. Its also a lack of choice & power. These people live on the margins of society, often facing discrimination, exploitation & violence. Children should be provided with food to thrive & an education to support their future. Actionaid support women & girls to claim these rights.

Any small amount will help & keep an eye on my posts for all the fundraising events we are planning! Oh yes there is more!
