Hopefully I can provide a little light humour by live streaming my attempt at shaving all my hair off for the first  time. I will start the stream on Saturday 11th April at 7pm, or once we reach the goal of £150, whichever is sooner.

As reports have shown, in the last few days domestic abuse calls have increased 25% since the lockdown. This is just one of the many valuable services that Refuge provides and which I am looking forward to support. They provide a varied range of services which are always sorely needed, but now more so than ever. 

One woman in four will experience domestic violence at some point in her lifetime and two women are killed each week in England and Wales by a current or former partner. Refuge supports around 6,000 women & children on any given day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.
