Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I do all different mini challenges for the eptopic pregnancy trust it make's me feel good and it helps raise awareness about eptopic pregnancy, im hoping to raise some money again for this great charity who support family's threw there grief of an eptopic, i suffered an eptopic in 2016 & couldn't find anyone who had suffered the same & i was so thankful when i found the eptopic pregnancy charity they were so helpful & supportive & still are now so great.

Here is my story........In 2016 I went through an eptopic pregnancy I was very ill for around 6/8wks.I finally took myself to the doctors who said it was a serious water infection & sent me home with antibiotics. I did not improve with the antibiotics so i went back they said it was still a water infection & had to give me stronger antibiotics, I was still no better after four days of being on antibiotics, I was so poorly i couldn't walk. So i got my partner Aaron to take me to a&e at Queen Elizabeth The Queen mother hospital (qeqm) he was by my side the whole time, they took bloods straight away & took a pregnancy test which showed I had some levels of hcg in my bloods but they was really low so they were not sure what was going on so i was sent for a ultrasound scan it was after this that they said i was pregnant..... we was so happy as had been trying for a while for another child but as quick as they told us this they then told us it was an eptopic pregnancy we was heartbroken our baby was in my fallopian tube & had not survived our baby had been there for 9wks & we didn't even know. I was then admitted to hospital as i needed surgery to remove are baby as it was a risk to my health & body it was so serious if I had not took myself to a&e that day & carried on thinking it was just a water infection I could have died if it had ruptured so our happiness then turnt to heartbreak. I had my surgery the next day by keyhole surgery. I was kept in hospital over nite then was sent home the next day to recover it took a long while to recover physically & come to terms to the fact we was pregnant but we had no baby, it has been a difficult journey mentally and has taken a long time to come to terms with this we still think of the what if's and why us but we have learnt to cope with it but we will never forget our angel baby & some days are still hard & we struggle, but as long as we have each other we will get threw this and come to terms with things.
