Thames Bridges Bike Ride 2013 · 12 May 2013 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 12th May I will be taking part in the Thames Bridges Bike Ride where I will be cycling 55 miles across London and its numerous bridges. Having completed the ride back in 2006, I've signed up again, joining my Dad in the extended version this time! This is sure to be a challenge for me as I haven't ridden my bike in years, but I'll dust off the cobwebs, pump up the tyres and give it my all!

I'm doing this for a great cause- the Stroke Association, who fund important research into new treatments and into ways of preventing stokes. The Stroke Association believe in life after a stoke and support surviors to ensure they make the best possible recovery and believe that everyone can still live a full life even after a stroke.

I'd be extremely grateful if you could donate to this great cause and support me in this cycling challenge.
