Charlotte Henderson is raising money for Teach First
Story
Teach First are on a mission to end educational inequality. A child from a disadvantaged background is 18 months behind when they take their GCSE’s and 3 times more likely to be excluded from school.
Teach first helps to support schools in the most disadvantaged areas of England and Wales. They do this by providing great teachers, developing great leaders and giving top support to the schools that need it most.
Teach first have placed more than 10,000 teachers in low-income areas, supporting more than one million children. When London’s schools transformed their results, Teach First were credited as a leading factor.
From working as a Teach First teacher, I have seen first hand how much these schools need and deserve as much support as they can get. Teachers work around the clock to provide the best education and pastoral care possible.
